Taking CBD for Better Sleep
In a controlled test of 103 adults, patients recorded that sleep scores improved within the first month in 66.7% of patients. (Shannon S, 2019)
One study published in the Journal of Clinical Psychology in 1979 found that CBD was effective in reducing the number of awakenings and increasing the total amount of sleep time in a small group of participants with chronic insomnia.
Another study published in the Journal of Psychopharmacology in 2017 found that CBD was effective in reducing anxiety and improving sleep in a group of participants with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD).
