Full Spectrum vs CBD Isolate?
Simply put, full-spectrum oil is the process of taking the entire plant and extracting everything from it. Studies have repeatedly shown that full spectrum extracts outperform CBD isolate by a long shot. You get the full benefits of all the cannabinoids, terpenes, and waxes in addition to the CBD. Full spectrum oil contains trace amounts of THC (less than 0.2%).
What is a carrier oil?
A carrier or base oil, acts as the solvent to dissolve the compounds of the hemp plant. We use hemp seed oil which is arguably one of the best carrier oils for CBD. Many experts argue hemp seed oil can enhance the entourage of effects of CBD due to the presence of hemp-produced phytochemicals. Hemp seed oil is also a popular health supplement on its own.
How much CBD should I take?
The benefits of CBD occur with consistent use over a period of time. We recommend starting with 2-3 drops three times daily. Start with a low dosage and slowly increase over time until desired therapeutic effects are reached.
What does CBD strength mean?
A large bottle containing a lot of oil does not mean there is a lot of CBD inside. You should only be interested in one thing, which is how many milligrams of CBD is in a product.
For example let’s compare a 10ml bottle and a 30ml bottle, both have 2000mg of CBD. The 30ml bottle will require three times as many drops as the 10ml bottle for the same amount of CBD. Don’t buy based on volume, buy based on CBD strength in the product.
We often feel like we’re getting more for our money with a larger bottle, but all you’re getting is extra carrier oil which you might as well buy at the supermarket.
